Trina Storage Solutions U.S., a global leader in integrated energy storage, today announced the North American launch of its Elementa 2 Pro Platform. Building on the success of the Elementa 2 Elevate offering, this next-generation platform delivers a fully integrated, cell-to-AC energy storage solution designed for grid-scale applications. The platform is available in two turnkey configurations: a 10 MWh (2-hour) system and a 20 MWh (4-hour) system.
The Elementa 2 Pro Platform combines battery cells, PCS, transformers, and EMS into a single streamlined architecture, engineered, tested, and supported by Trina Storage as a complete solution. This integration simplifies procurement, eliminates common installation challenges, and accelerates time to commissioning for developers and EPCs.
The platform features long-life 314Ah LFP cells with intelligent liquid cooling, delivering up to 5% higher State of Health at year 20 and extending project lifetimes beyond 25 years, reducing augmentation needs and overall CAPEX. Safety and reliability are ensured through advanced fire protection, IP55/IP67 ratings, and compliance with UL 9540A, UL1973, CE, and UN standards. The system operates efficiently across a wide temperature range from –22 °C to 50 °C.
The Elementa 2 Pro Platform offers a bankable, future-proof solution for today’s demanding utility and developer projects. It will be featured at Trina Storage’s booth (V9071) during RE+ 2025 from September 9–11, where visitors can explore the platform and speak directly with Trina energy storage experts.
“Our Elementa 2 Pro Platform redefines what it means to deliver a complete storage solution,” said Terry Chen, Vice President, Trinasolar U.S. “From traceability and State-Side Integration Testing (SSIT) to real-world performance modeling, every layer of this platform is designed to reduce risk, accelerate deployment, and maximize value for our customers.”
