TerraWind acquires 25MW wind project in Fukushima
Commercial operations targeted for Q1 2029.
TerraWind Renewables Inc. has acquired a 100% interest in an onshore wind power project in Fukushima Prefecture, expanding its onshore wind development portfolio in Japan.
The project will have a planned installed capacity of approximately 25 megawatts (MW).
Construction is scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026, with commercial operations expected to start in the first quarter of 2029.
Following the acquisition, TerraWind's onshore wind project portfolio in Japan has grown to a total planned capacity of 376MW.
